Note: De Vries (2004): "Inanwatan people use the name Patipi also for the Austronesian language of the Bomberai peninsula known as Sekar, a dialect of the Onin language, spoken today in Kokas by about 600 persons. [...] I visited the Patipi speaking village Kokas in October 1995." On p. 150 de Vries explicitly labels the list Patipi word list (Kokas dialect). The Peta Bahasa site also treats Onin and Sekar as dialects of one language and says about the locations: "Dialek Sekar dituturkan oleh masyarakat Kampung Sekar, Distrik Kokas, Kabupaten Fak-Fak, Provinsi Papua Barat sedangkan dialek Onim dituturkan oleh masyarakat Kampung Patipi Pasir, Distrik Teluk Patipi, Kabupaten Fak-Fak, Papua Barat."
