den

•  marry.

Note: This verb is one of a small set where the prefix has merged with the root. Thus the paradigm is: 1sg ʔon, 2sg mon, 3sg nen, 1pl(incl) fen, 1pl(excl) men, 2pl mi'nen, 3pl den. When it means marry, as opposed to 'sleep', only the plural forms occur. To say 'marry' without specifying to whom, one says nal fodaror nalyili 'he/she has taken a woman/man'.
