Entry record from Kamholz (nd c): Yerisiam

Variants: àtà; kótà

•  dem. Dem(eng).-(ind).

Note: a demonstrative of rather vague and hard to specify meaning. it may be something like a definite marker. however, it is also used in cases where the object is quite far way from the speech context -- not to emphasize the great distance, but rather apparently because -te and -to would be inappropriate. (note that -te and -to can also be used with non-visible objects, as long as they are the appropriate distance.)
