• bamboo species which is very thin and has flexible bark, so that it is used for the kinds of purposes for which people in Holland use withy (flexible willow stem), like braiding boxes and mats etc..bamboesoort, die zeer dun is en waarvan de schil lenig is, zodat deze gebruikt wordt voor allerlei doeleinden, waarvoor men in Holland teentjes bezigt, zooals het vlechten van doozen, matjes, enz.
