haik
• k.o. jug made of gawang leaves, also used as measuring jug. The palm wine tapsters walk around all day with a yoke on which two of these haik filled with toewak or laroe hang, which they sell.timba van gawangbladeren, wordt ook als maat gebezigd (25 katies). De tifadoors loopen den ganschen dag rond met een juk, waaraan twee haiks met toewak of laroe hangen, die aldus rondgevent wordt.
