•  v. a traditional way of processing corn to produce wata ketanĩ, a traditional delicacy.

Note: The process starts by frying corn grains in a clay pan. When the corn grains become half-roasted, they are taken out with a bare hand several grains at once and flattened between two flat stones, one stone serving a hitter and the other as a base
