Note: MRN (Muthalib, Pattiasina, et al. 1983:16): montisu; MRB (Esser 1927:34): montiso; PAD (Lara, Larobu, et al. 1991:75: montiso ‘point’ (**mosiso expected); TOL (Muthalib, Alimuddin, Chalik, et al. 1985:139): tiso (stem) (final o unexplained in Padoe, Tolaki). Evidence for this stem also comes from the word for index finger, found in the following isolects as: KUL, WAWₕ, BNGₕ (Adriani 1900:254): tonisu; MRBₕ and MRA (Adriani 1900:292): toniso; TOLₕ: kondiso; MEKₕ: pondiso.
